We didn't go to North Wales to start a gin brand. We went to ride the fastest zip line in the world. But the greater excitement happened on the way home, when our plans shifted. A detour pulled us through the winding rugged mountains of Snowdonia National Park toward a quiet bay where we were staying. Somewhere along that unexpected stretch, we discovered Aber Falls Distillery. The plan had glitched, and somehow, it got better.
